Licking County home sales and sold prices continue to
increase. Licking County saw 731 single family and condominium homes sell from
January through May this year, a 2.2 percent increase over last year. The
average sold price over the first five months of the year was $156,529, up 7.7
percent over last year.
New listings are down this year, with 1,242 homes coming on
the market from Jan. through May, down 14.5 percent from the same period last
year.
The average days on market for a house until sale was down 4
percent, to 96 days on market from Jan. to May 2013, compared to 100 days the
same period last year.
The inventory of homes for sale is 868, with a 4.9 month’s
supply of inventory.
