Licking County’s average homes sold price was $169,072 for the
first eight months of this year, up 4.4% over Jan. – Aug. of 2014. There were 1,526 existing homes and
condominiums sold in this year’s first eight months, up 11.5% from the same
time period last year.
Homes sold in the first eight months of this year, had spent
an average of 72 days on market (from listing to close), down 16.3% from 86
days for the first eight months of 2014.
For the first eight months of this year, there were 2,189
new listings, up 0.3% from Jan. – Aug. of 2014.
There were 277 new listings in Aug., down 4.2 percent from Aug. 2014. The
inventory of homes and condos for sale in Licking County was 742 at the end of
Aug., with a 3.8 months supply of inventory.
The average sold price of a Licking County home during the
month of Aug. was $176,884, which is a 9.2 percent gain over Aug. 2014. There were 214 homes sold in Licking County in
Aug., the exact same amount that sold in Aug. 2014. There were 272 Licking
County homes that went into contract with a Buyer in Aug.
