Licking County’s average homes sold price was $161,165 for the
first four months of this year, up 7.4% over Jan. – April of 2014. There were 549 existing homes and condominiums
sold in this year’s first four months, up 1.9% from the same time period last
year.
There were 333 new listings in April, up 12.5 percent from
April 2014. For the first four months of this year, there were 990 new
listings, up 7.6% from Jan. – April of 2014.
The inventory of homes and condos for sale in Licking County was 717 at
the end of April, with a 3.9 months supply of inventory.
The average sold price of a Licking County home during the
month of April was $171,405, which is a 2.2 percent gain over April 2014. There were 171 homes sold in Licking County in
April, a 5.6 percent increase over April 2014. Homes sold in the first four
months of this year, had spent an average of 91 days on market (from listing to
close), down 11.7% from 103 days in April 2014.
