The average sale price of a Licking County single family home
and condominium during the month of February was $168,611, which is a 14.7
percent gain over February 2014. Industry experts believe the higher home sold
prices are attributed to a lack of homes for sale.
The inventory of homes and condos for sale in Licking County
was 651 at the end of February, with a 3.7 months supply of inventory. There
were 185 new listings in February, down 2.1 percent from February 2014.
There were 123 homes sold in Licking County in February, a
0.8 percent increase over February 2014. Homes sold in February, had spent an
average of 102 days on market (from listing to close), down from 118 days in
February 2014.
