Licking County home sales and sold prices continue to
increase. Licking County saw 1,535 single family and condominium homes sell
from January through September this year, a 0.8 percent increase from the same period
last year. The average sold price over the first nine months of the year was $160,756,
up 6.4 percent from the same period last year.
New listings are down this year, with 2,414 homes coming on
the market from Jan. through Sept., down 7.6 percent from the same period last
year.
The average days on market for a house until sale was down 5.6
percent, to 84 days on market from Jan. to Sept., compared to 89 days the same
period last year.
The inventory of homes for sale is 961, with a 5.6 month’s
supply of inventory. The statistics are provided by the Columbus
Realtors.
