Licking County’s average home sold price was $156,492 for
the first quarter of this year, up 10.1% over the first quarter of 2014. There
were 374 existing homes and condominiums sold in this year’s first quarter, down
.5% from last year’s first quarter when there were 376 homes sold.
The inventory of homes and condos for sale in Licking County
was 680 at the end of March, with a 3.8 months supply of inventory. There were
295 new listings in March, up 6.5 percent from March 2014.
The average sale price of a Licking County home during the
month of March was $152,177, which is a 6.6 percent gain over March 2014. There were 157 homes sold in Licking County in
March, a 12.9 percent increase over March 2014. Homes sold in March, had spent
an average of 83 days on market (from listing to close), down 27.8% from 115
days in March 2014.
