Licking County home sales and sold prices continue to increase. Licking County saw 1,535 single family and condominium homes sell from January through September this year, a 0.8 percent increase from the same period last year. The average sold price over the first nine months of the year was $160,756, up 6.4 percent from the same period last year.

New listings are down this year, with 2,414 homes coming on the market from Jan. through Sept., down 7.6 percent from the same period last year.

The average days on market for a house until sale was down 5.6 percent, to 84 days on market from Jan. to Sept., compared to 89 days the same period last year.

The inventory of homes for sale is 961, with a 5.6 month’s supply of inventory. The statistics are provided by the Columbus Realtors.

Licking County's home sales prices continue to increase. The average sold price for Licking County homes sold January to July, was $161,469, an 8.2 percent increase over the same period last year.

Licking County saw 1,145 single family and condominium homes sell from Jan. through July this year, a 1.6 percent decrease over the same period last year.

New listings are down this year, with 1,890 homes coming on the market from Jan. through July, down 9.9 percent from the same period last year.

The average days on market for a house until sale from Jan. to July was down 2.2 percent, to 89 days on market, compared to 91 days the same period last year.

The inventory of homes for sale is 1,020, with a 6.0 month’s supply of inventory.

Memories of Grandma and Grandpa's Home

It was a true pleasure working with the Sellers for this house at 695 Robinson Dr. in Newark. The Sellers are Brother and Sister and had a lot of great memories of this house which once belonged to their Grandparents.

Licking County saw 731 single family and condominium homes sell from January through May this year, a 2.2 percent increase over last year. The average sold price over the first five months of the year was $156,529, up 7.7 percent over last year.

New listings are down this year, with 1,242 homes coming on the market from Jan. through May, down 14.5 percent from the same period last year.

The average days on market for a house until sale was down 4 percent, to 96 days on market from Jan. to May 2013, compared to 100 days the same period last year.

The inventory of homes for sale is 868, with a 4.9 month’s supply of inventory.
