LC Homes Sales and Sold Prices Keep Rising!

Licking County’s average home sold price was $161,492 for the first quarter of this year, up 3.1% over the first quarter of 2015. There were 447 existing homes and condominiums sold in this year’s first quarter, up 17.6% from last year’s first quarter when there were 380 homes sold.  

The inventory of homes and condos for sale in Licking County was 498 at the end of March, with a 2.4 months supply of inventory. There were 245 new listings that came onto the market in March. 

The average sale price of a Licking County home during the month of March was $156,990, which is a 2.9 percent gain over March 2015.  There were 192 homes sold in Licking County in March, an 18.5 percent increase over March 2015. 

Homes sold in March, had spent an average of 68 days on market (from listing to close), down 21.8% from 87 days in March 2015. Homes going into contract with a Buyer totaled 284 in March.
