Frye's Visit the Track

On a recent getaway to Lexinton, KY the Frye family visited Keeneland Horse Track and was amazed to find that thousands of people make the trip for the track's opening day. One visitor said she heard 25,000 people were expected, and I believe it because it was packed and more people kept coming throughout the day. It was almost like an Ohio State Saturday, except instead of one football game there were five horse races. There was lots of tailgating and bourbon and beer flowing throughout the day. It was also college day, which meant hundreds of college age kids dressed up with girls in sundresses and high heels and the guys in long sleeve shirts and ties and khakis. I wore a t-shirt and shorts. :)

Grace placed her first horse bet and won $2 and quickly went to the gift shop to buy $6 binoculars. Molly's horse finished second, and mine finished third, so we had things covered. We even got to see a real life Kentucky Waterfall (left). For all of your real estate needs remember to SELL & BUY with CENTURY 21 Frank Frye and Phil Frye The Real Estate Guy!
