LC Home Sales and Price Keep Rising

Licking County’s average homes sold price was $168,919 for the first 11 months of this year, up 4.4% over Jan. – Nov. of 2014. There were 2,087 existing homes and condominiums sold in this year’s first 11 months, up 11.2% from the same time period last year. 


Homes sold in the first 11 months of this year, had spent an average of 71 days on market (from listing to close), down 14.5% from 83 days for the first 11 months of 2014.


For the first 11 months of this year, there were 2,876 new listings, up 4% from Jan. – Nov. of 2014.  There were 184 new listings in Nov., up 32.4 percent from Nov. 2014. The inventory of homes and condos for sale in Licking County was 684 at the end of Nov., with a 3.5 months supply of inventory. 


The average sold price of a Licking County home during the month of Nov. was $161,600, which is a 0.1 percent gain over Nov. 2014.  There were 147 homes sold in Licking County in Nov., up 8.1% from Nov. 2014. There were 190 Licking County homes that went into contract with a Buyer in Nov.

LC Home Sales up 13.4% for First Nine Months

Licking County’s average homes sold price was $169,134 for the first nine months of this year, up 5.2% over Jan. – Sept. of 2014. There were 1,752 existing homes and condominiums sold in this year’s first nine months, up 13.4% from the same time period last year. 



Homes sold in the first nine months of this year, had spent an average of 72 days on market (from listing to close), down 14.3% from 84 days for the first nine months of 2014.


For the first nine months of this year, there were 2,454 new listings, up 1.5% from Jan. – Sept. of 2014.  There were 264 new listings in Sept., up 12.3 percent from Sept. 2014. The inventory of homes and condos for sale in Licking County was 751 at the end of Sept., with a 3.8 months supply of inventory. 


The average sold price of a Licking County home during the month of Sept. was $168,467, which is a 10.5 percent gain over Sept. 2014.  There were 224 homes sold in Licking County in Sept., up 26.6% over Sept. 2014. There were 225 Licking County homes that went into contract with a Buyer in Sept.
