Home Sale Prices Continue to Rise in Licking County!


287 N. 11th St. was listed for sale in Jan. with Century 21 Frank Frye Real Estate and went into contract in less than 30 days!

More good news for our housing market!

Licking County’s average sold price for single family and condominium homes sold in January was $163,203, up 9.6 percent from Jan. 2015 when the average sold price was $148,891. Licking County saw 126 homes sell in Jan., a 35.5 percent increase over Jan. 2015 when 93 homes sold. 
 
New listings were up in Jan., with 169 homes coming on the market. The median list price of new listings was $167,900, up 12% over Jan. 2015 when the median list price was $149,900.

A total of 188 homes went under contract with a buyer in Jan. The average days on market for a house until sale was down 25 percent, to 60 days on market at the end of Jan., compared to 80 days in Jan. 2015.

The inventory of homes for sale at the end of Jan. was 566, with a 2.8 month’s supply of inventory.
