LC Home Sales are down slightly but New Listings are Up!

Licking County’s average sold price for single family and condominium homes sold in February was $166,447, down 0.7 percent from Feb. 2015 when the average sold price was $167,669. Licking County saw 123 homes sell in Feb., a 1.6 percent decrease over Feb. 2015 when 125 homes sold. 
 
New listings were up 14.9 percent in Feb., with 216 homes coming on the market compared to Feb. 2015 when there were 188 new listings. The median list price of new listings was $150,000, down 5.9% over Feb. 2015 when the median list price was $159,450.

A total of 218 homes went under contract with a buyer in Feb.  The average days on market for a house until sale was down 28.4 percent, to 73 days on market at the end of Feb., compared to 102 days in Feb. 2015. 

Licking County’s average sold price per square foot in Feb. was $92.70, up 9.5 percent from Feb. 2015 when the average sold price per square foot was $84.66.

The inventory of homes for sale at the end of Feb. was 553, with a 2.7 month’s supply of inventory.
