Licking County home sales prices continue to rise.

This condominium at 1868 Stanhope Dr. Unit #2 was just listed for sale with Century 21 Frank Frye Real Estate for $84,500.

Licking County’s average sold price for single family and condominium homes sold in January was $164,845, up 2.0 percent from Jan. 2016 when the average sold price was $161,612. Licking County saw 124 homes sell in Jan., a 3.9 percent decrease over Jan. 2016 when 129 homes sold. 

New listings were up in Jan., with 169 homes coming on the market. The median list price of new listings was $159,900, up 3.2% over Jan. 2016 when the median list price was $154,900.

A total of 223 homes went under contract with a buyer in Jan. 

The average days on market for a house until sale was 56 days on market at the end of Jan., compared to 58 days in Jan. 2016.

The inventory of homes for sale at the end of Jan. was 406, with 1.9 month’s supply of inventory.

For 2016, there were 2,907 new listings, down 1.6% from 2015.
